Acceptable Usage Policy

The following are strictly prohibited: • Any activity violating applicable laws (Indian or international) • Fraud, phishing, scams, or impersonation • Distribution or hosting of pirated content

The following network activities are strictly prohibited: • DDoS attacks or stress testing without permission • Port scanning, brute-force attacks, or unauthorized probing • IP spoofing or packet manipulation • Any attempt to interfere with network integrity, routing, or infrastructure

• Excessive CPU, RAM, or Disk usage impacting other users • Unauthorized crypto mining • Bandwidth abuse beyond allocated limits

• Sending bulk unsolicited emails (SPAM) • Email campaigns that may blacklist our IP ranges

• Malware, ransomware, botnets • Exploit kits or unauthorized hacking tools

• Reselling, subleasing, or providing "VM inside VM" (nested virtualization for resale purposes) is strictly prohibited. • Running or offering VPS/hosting services to third parties from our infrastructure without prior written permission is not allowed.

• Installation of unauthorized, forced, or unsupported operating systems (Force OS) is strictly prohibited. • Any attempt to bypass system restrictions, hypervisor controls, or provisioning limits is not allowed.

Any activity intended to harm, defame, threaten, harass, or damage the reputation of our company, staff members, partners, or clients is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to: • Publishing false, misleading, or malicious statements • Fake reviews, false complaints, or impersonation intended to damage reputation • Public distribution of confidential conversations, internal information, or edited/misrepresented content with malicious intent • Harassment, abuse, or threats toward staff or management Any such activity may result in: • Immediate suspension or permanent termination of all services • Legal action under applicable Indian laws, including provisions related to defamation under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Information Technology Act • Claims for financial damages, legal costs, and reputational losses • No refund will be issued in such cases.

Any violation of the above clauses will result in: • Immediate suspension or permanent termination of the service • No prior notice • No data access or data recovery will be provided • No refund will be issued under any circumstances

Prohibition on External Proxy Usage — Services provided by PowerDown Hosting must not be used as a proxy, relay, tunnel, or forwarding system for any server, service, or infrastructure hosted outside of the PowerDown Hosting network. Customers are strictly prohibited from using any PowerDown Hosting server, IP address, proxy service, or DDoS protection system for the purpose of protecting, forwarding, or routing traffic to backend servers hosted with another provider or external infrastructure. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of: • BungeeCord • Velocity • Waterfall • HAProxy • GRE tunnels • IP-in-IP tunnels • Any similar proxying, forwarding, or tunneling mechanism unless all connected backend servers and endpoints are hosted directly within the PowerDown Hosting network. Enforcement — If a customer is found violating this policy, PowerDown Hosting reserves the right to suspend, terminate, disconnect, filter, or restrict the affected services immediately and without prior notice. Any service terminated due to violation of this clause shall not be eligible for any refund, credit, or compensation.
